PI Tracks Down Man Who Suffered Memory Loss Before Going Missing

A private investigator succeeded in locating a Colorado man named Oliver Pareece Jones who had gone missing in Southern California two months ago while traveling there with his cousin.

PI Paul Huebl told KTLA on June 7, 2015 that he found Jones safe in Mazatlan and that the father of five had flown back from Mexico to Denver to be reunited with his family. While many pieces of the puzzle related to his disappearance have yet to be unraveled, current speculation is that the Jones was suffering memory loss from a concussion that he suffered during a mugging outside of an LA nightclub.

He had been assaulted during a robbery in which his cell phone was stolen. Although hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for his concussion, he checked himself out on April 4 before treatment had been completed.

While traveling from LA to Las Vegas with his cousin, they decided to stop in Rancho Cucamonga for dinner. After an argument, Jones went his separate way and rented a hotel room only to check out early on April 5 and take a taxi to a local Wal-Mart.

The last sighting of Jones was from surveillance footage taken that day at a Wal-Mart in Rancho Cucamonga. …read more
